Johnson, JD founded the company in 1997 in Penang, Malaysia. Headquarters were moved to Houston, Texas in 1999. The company was purchased by Houston based Rock Hill Capital in 2012, and growth initiatives since then have expanded and focused operations to the current four operating companies in Houston, Odessa, Mexico City, and Cochin (India).
